Despite the bleak outlook, or perhaps because of it, we've---well, mostly I've---been investing time in things that bring lots of lovely comfort and enjoyment.
1. BBC's Monty Don's Italian Gardens:
2. As Time Goes By:
3. Toni Childs's 'Zimbabwe'; 'When the Red Red Robin' (sung by Doris Day, Dean Martin, and "Whispering" Jack and "Whistling" Carson Robison); and 'When I am laid in earth':
4. the WOW Museum in Lafayette:

5. Admiring our plump, crunchy radishes and finding things to do with them:

6. Eating things like homemade pizza and Quicky and Creamy Vegetable White Bean Soup (at the bottom of the web page)
7. Looking at the fabulousity:

8. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:

9. Going to estate sales and finding gems like this:

10. Basking in these photos and looking forward to the days of summer; surely they will come soon.
